    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the effects of alcohol ingestion on sleep-induced breathing abnormalities.
    • To assess alcohol's impact on arterial oxyhaemoglobin saturation in patients with upper airway occlusion.
    • To explore the mechanisms behind alcohol-induced obstructive sleep apnea.

    • All-night polysomnographic studies were conducted in seven patients.
