Toxic epidermal necrolysis. Five case reports of unusual presentation in Zambians
The British Journal of Dermatology
|September 1, 1978
Abstract:
A new clinical presentation of epidermal necrolytic reaction affectting a limited area is reported in 5 Zambian patients. No definite causative factor could be identified in any of these cases. A staphylococcal aetiology is suspected because of the compatible histological features. However, none of the patients had pyogenic skin lesions and staphylococcus was not isolated from the skin lesion.
