Abstract:
Experiments on mice (CBA X C57BL) F1 have shown that a high level of endogenous glucocorticoids in the blood 30 min to 6 hours after burn is accompanied by a 2--2 1/2-fold decrease of the circulating CFU. At this period CFU migration from the bone marrow area shielded during the irradiation (850 R) is inhibited. The stem cells migration is increased 3--4 days after the burn.
