[Rhexis of the small bowel by traumatism after breech hernia of particular type (author's transl)]

One case of a rhexis of the small bowel by traumatism on the breech is related. It concerns a 80 years woman operated 17 years before: removal of rectum for cancer and coloanal anastomosis by the transcoccygeal route. The anatomical alterations, consequence of the removal of coccyx and the abdominal hyperpressure explain probably the mechanism of the lesions.
