Umbilical vascular catheters: localization by two-dimensional echocardio/aortography

    Summary

    Echocardiography accurately and safely positions umbilical vascular catheters in neonates. This imaging method is superior to X-rays for venous catheters and equally effective for arterial catheters, avoiding radiation exposure.
