    Background:

    • Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a demyelinating disease affecting the central nervous system.
    • Homonymous hemianopsia, a visual field defect, can be an early symptom of neurological disorders.

    Observation:

    • Three young female patients with multiple sclerosis presented with homonymous hemianopsia.
    • Demyelinating plaques in the brain were identified as the cause of the visual field defects.

    Findings:

    • Computed tomography (CT) revealed hypodense areas corresponding to demyelinating plaques in the affected patients.
    • The location of these lesions correlated with the observed homonymous hemianopsia.

    Implications:

    • CT imaging is recommended for patients presenting with homonymous hemianopsia.
