A photographic technique to increase image contrast in photomicrographs

The photographic technique described in this report enables investigators to emphasize image details in low contrast photographs, resulting from under exposure, poor development or low contrast subject matter. The technique is easily carried out in nearly any darkroom facility and is less costly and faster than the more sophisticated methods available today.
