Background:

Behçet's disease is a multisystem inflammatory disorder.
Distinguishing Behçet's disease from other inflammatory conditions like uveitis, sarcoidosis, and SLE can be challenging.
Intradermal testing is a common diagnostic tool for immune responses.

Purpose of the Study:

To compare the results of intradermal tests in patients with Behçet's disease, other uveitis, sarcoidosis, and SLE.
To identify specific skin reaction patterns that can help differentiate Behçet's disease.

Main Methods:

Four groups of patients were tested: Behçet's disease, other uveitis, sarcoidosis, and SLE.
Intradermal injections of PPD, SK-SD, and Candida were administered.
Reactions to saline and phosphate-buffered saline were also evaluated.

The distinct patterns of induration, pustule formation, and erythema can aid in the diagnosis of Behçet's disease.
