Cerebral ischemia encompasses conditions like transient ischemic attack (TIA), prolonged reversible neurologic deficit (PRIND), and stroke.
Accurate diagnosis of cerebral ischemia, especially subtle arterial lesions, is crucial for effective management.
Current diagnostic methods may not always detect small vascular abnormalities.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the utility of indium-111 platelet scintigraphy in diagnosing cerebral ischemia.
To assess the sensitivity of platelet scintigraphy in detecting pathological platelet accumulations in affected cerebral vessels.
