[Embolization of arteriovenous angiomas in infancy and childhood]

The authors report on 35 children in whom embolisation of arteriovenous angiomas was performed. Embolisation alone caused the tumor to disappear in 50% of the cases. Permanent success was achieved in all cases by means of embolisation and steroid treatment or by embolisation and exstirpation of the tumor.
