    Summary

    This study found that a combination therapy including prednimustine, methotrexate, 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), and tamoxifen showed acceptable toxicity and efficacy in advanced breast cancer patients. Over half of evaluable patients achieved a response, with a median duration of 13 months.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of a novel combination therapy for advanced breast cancer.
    • To assess the response rate and duration in patients receiving prednimustine, methotrexate, 5-FU, and tamoxifen.
