    Psychotherapy effectively treated adult night terrors in two patients, eliminating or reducing episodes. A third patient, who stopped therapy, saw no improvement, highlighting psychopathology's role.

    • The findings suggest a significant role for psychopathology in the manifestation of adult night terrors.
    • Further research is warranted to explore psychotherapy modalities for this condition.
