Hemocoagulation was studied in 78 patients with diabetes mellitus during the treatment of diabetic retinopathy with antiaggregating and hemostatic drugs. Trental and acetylsalicylic acid decrease an elevated aggregating activity of the blood platelets, improve hemocoagulation indices, accompanied by stabilization of the retinal pathologic process. The combined dicynone-acetylsalicylic acid treatment is recommended in a raised coagulating activity of the blood.
