    Background:

    • Pulmonary arteriovenous fistula (PAVF) is a rare vascular malformation.
    • Patients may present with cyanosis, dyspnea, or neurological symptoms.
    • Hereditary conditions like Rendu-Osler-Weber disease can be associated with PAVF.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To review the treatment and outcomes of patients with pulmonary arteriovenous fistula.
    • To emphasize the importance of early surgical management.

    • Retrospective review of 7 patients treated between 1959-1978.
    • All patients underwent lobectomy for PAVF.
