[Heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Zn) in suspended dust of the Rhone Plain]
Abstract:
A network of samplers was installed near a refuse incinerator in an alpine valley. Only a weak contribution of cadmium and zinc to an already low level was observed. The use of a movie camera pointing to the stack evidenced that close to ground wind measurements would not allow reliable flow pattern predictions, even in this seemingly linear topography.
