Use of the Pomp-Siemens hyperthermia cabin

The Pomp-Siemens hyperthermia cabin has been in use in seven European units since 1966. Almost 2,000 treatments with a large variety of intensities have been performed on 332 patients. The cabin, with its combination of radiofrequency, hot air, and microwave energy has provided a flexible and reliable way of treating patients with hyperthermia.
