[Unilateral hypochromic verrucous epidermal nevus (author's transl)]

A case of unilateral hypochromic epidermal nevus is presented. A literature search and review of our own autopsy and ultrastructural studies did not permit the classification of this case to previously described genodermatoses. The possible origin of this congenital cutaneous malformation is discussed.
