[Endovesical destruction of bladder tumors with neodymium-YAG laser (author's transl)]

In our hospitals the endoscopic Neodymium-YAG laser application is a routine procedure. It seems to be superior to transurethral electroresection in cases of multiple, small bladder tumors up to finger tip size. However, a final opinion is only possible following controlled, prospective, comparative studies.
