Calcified venous thrombosis of the lower extremities
Radiology
|April 1, 1981
Abstract:
The radiographic appearance of dense, linear calcifications in the soft tissues of the lower extremities in the region of the superficial femoral, greater saphenous, and popliteal veins is described. These calcifications are suggestive of venous thrombosis. In the appropriate clinical setting, confirmatory venography should be performed.
