[Hydroxyprolinuria in relation to bone metastases in patients with breast cancer]

The authors study the daily elimination of hydroxyproline in breast cancer with and without roentgenological or radioisotopic bone scanning evidence of bone lesion. The results show that urinary hydroxyproline is a better procedure than roentgenology or scanning for the diagnosis of bone metastasis.
