Human chromosomal heteromorphisms in American blacks. I. Structural variability of chromosome 3

Q- and C-band heteromorphisms of chromosome 3 (bands p11 and q11) were compared by QFQ and CBG techniques. In some cases a definite relationship was observed while in others no comparable association could be established. Our observations suggest that bands p11 and q11 of chromosome 3 are not necessarily identical by CBG and QFQ technique.
