Abstract:
Percutaneous aspiration biopsy of the lung is a well established procedure. Use of a double needle technique allows a single needle pass through the pleura and multiple samples of the lesion. In a series of 440 patients, 91% of malignant lesions were diagnosed with low morbidity and no mortality.
