[Dwarfism due to deprivation associated with deep sleep deficiency (author's transl)]

The authors report sleep disturbances in a case of dwarfism due to deprivation. Polygraphic recording of sleep showed a deficiency in deep sleep which is the normal stimulus for hgH secretion. This might explain the deficiency of hgH frequently encountered in this form of dwarfism.
