Organic fluorine in human serum: natural versus industrial sources
Abstract:
The concentration of organic fluorine in human serum has been reported to vary from 0.0 to 0.13 part per million in persons not exposed to industrial fluorochemicals. To help ascertain whether the natural environment is a source of organic fluorine in human serum, samples from a group of rural Chinese were analyzed. the samples contained low levels of organic fluorine as well as the expected inorganic fluoride.
