    Summary

    Cimetidine treatment did not affect neutrophil function in vitro. However, this study found that cimetidine significantly enhanced monocyte chemotaxis in patients with duodenal ulcer disease.

    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the in vitro effects of cimetidine on neutrophil and monocyte chemotaxis.
