Abstract:
The isolated congenital non-union of the clavicle is an extremely rare condition. We report on of one case of bilateral congenital non-union of the clavicle in which the left side became painful. Treatment with compression plate osteosynthesis and homologous cancellous bone grafting was successful. Surgical treatment of this rare condition is only indicated when the non-union becomes painful.
