Serologic response to canine distemper vaccine in dogs convalescing from salmon poisoning complex

Six of 7 dogs that had recently recovered from clinical salmon poisoning complex (SPC) responded to vaccination for canine distemper with an increased titer, as did 2 of 3 controls. The humoral immune response of dogs convalescing from SPC apparently is not compromised.
