Tuberculosis in East Africans presenting with intra-thoracic lymphadenopathy

Abstract:
Seven cases are presented of tuberculosis in East African Asian immigrants. In each case the main feature was enlargement of hilar or mediastinal lymph nodes. This type of tuberculosis is rare amongst adults in Britain. The problems of diagnosis and treatment are discussed.
