[Serologic rubella diagnosis. The determination of minimal rubella antibody levels]

75 serum specimens from different individuals protocolled negative (1 : less than 10) by routine rubella-hemagglutination inhibition test were found to contain rubella specific antibodies by means of a commercial rubella-ELISA-test kit in 38,7%. From the 3 groups assayed: pregnant women, routine medical inspection of applicants and medical inspection of children were positive: 19%, 33%, 47%, respectively.
