    Background:

    • Left atrial myxomas are rare primary cardiac tumors.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the histological and histochemical characteristics of excised left atrial myxomas with organizing and organized thrombi.
    • To provide evidence supporting the neoplastic origin of cardiac myxoma.
