Abstract:
The lymphatic drainage of the maxillary sinus has been evaluated by means of lymphangioscopy. Besides the ostial route of lymphatic drainage, there are connection over the pterygo-palatine plexus to the eustachian tube and the nasopharynx. The clinical significance for spread of tumor or infections via this route is discussed.
