Abstract:
The study shows the results obtained by introducing sport therapy into the rehabilitation phase in patients suffering from psychosis. It was found that the motor behaviour, the emotionality and social behaviour of the patients was significantly improved after a training phase of 14 weeks. Significant differences were also found in comparison to kinetotherapy and physiotherapy. The slightest amount of improvement was seen in the impulse behaviour. The article discusses the methodic consequences of these results in respect of sport therapy; the theoretical outlines of this method are explained.
