    Summary

    Antimicrobial resistance in key pig and cattle pathogens was reviewed from 1974-1979. While some bacteria showed stable or improved sensitivity, significant resistance developed in E. coli and Salmonella dublin.

    • P. haemolytica showed diminishing sensitivity to penicillin, streptomycin, tetracycline, and sulfonamide since 1977.
