    Summary

    Double aortic arches can be difficult to visualize completely with standard angiography. An angled view provides a clearer picture of the malformation, aiding surgical planning.

    • An angled projection was utilized during aortography to visualize the anomaly.

    Findings:

    • The angled view successfully revealed the complete anatomy of the double aortic arch malformation.
    • This technique provided superior visualization compared to standard frontal and lateral projections.

    Implications:

    • Improved visualization of double aortic arches can lead to more accurate diagnosis.
    • Enhanced imaging facilitates precise surgical planning for complex congenital heart defects.
    • This technique may improve outcomes for infants with double aortic arch and associated atresia.
