Successful use of colchicine in acute polyarticular pseudogout

Abstract:
A woman with acute postsurgical pseudogout involving a remarkable number of peripheral joints is presented. The attack responded promptly to intravenous colchicine. The mechanism of action of colchicine is discussed.
