[Determination of the myocardial reserve by ergometry]

An analysis has been made of the data of direct and indirect methods for evaluation of myocardial reserve and occult cardiac insufficiency in varying groups of patients with postinfarction cardiosclerosis and hypertensive disease. Absolute and relative values of the systolic AD, cardiac contraction rate and ECG data have been studied. A combined characteristics of the hyposystolic type reaction and the scheme for the examination of patients are presented.
