Abstract:
Data from Na-DS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis suggest that the relative amount of the polypeptide with molecular weight of 12,000 in the soluble fraction of rat liver cytosol is increased after treatment with the hypolipidemic agent clofibrate. The experimental results indicate that this polypeptide is identical to a fatty acid binding protein (Z-protein).
