[Skin vascular and bronchoreceptor reactivity study of bronchial asthma]
Abstract:
The skin-vascular reactivity (SVR) to histamine and adrenaline was studied in 165 patients with bronchial asthma--87 with atopic, 38 with infectious-allergic and 40--with mixed. It was established that in patients with a light course of the disease, the hyperadrenergic SVP and normohistaminergic SVR predominated, whereas in patients with a grave course of the bronchial asthma--mainly hypoadrenergic and hyperhistaminergic SVR was found. The bronchoreceptive reactivity in some of the patients revealed an increased tolerance, to acetylcholine in the patients with hyperadrenergic SVR.
