Simplified occupational noise hazard prediction for new equipment

A simplified yet accurate method has been developed to predict noise hazards for new equipment by using only dB(A) noise levels, calculating power levels by the Two Surface Method and plotting a predicted noise isopleth. Noise levels can be accumulated for multiple sources. Room constants and other parameters can easily be varied to determine the most feasible and economical solution for noise problems.
