    Background:

    • Rhinoscleroma is a chronic granulomatous disease caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae.
    • Mikulicz cells are characteristic histiocytic cells found in rhinoscleroma.

    Observation:

    • Electron microscopy was used to examine Mikulicz cells from a patient diagnosed with rhinoscleroma.
