Abstract:
Extracts of Nealchornea yapurensis Huber (Euphorbiaceae) displayed cytotoxic activity; from the active fractions, five known compounds acetylaleuritolic acid, scopoletin, hexacosanoic acid, beta-sitosterol and beta-sitosterol glucoside were obtained. None of these compounds displayed cytotoxic activity.
