Computer-controlled access device for medical image processing

Mass screening applications that involve image processing often require automated devices for accessing medical images such as radiograms. A computer-controlled device that easily interfaces with standard minicomputers of microcomputers is described; the device is mechanically robust and can operate with a minimum of servicing. The design is inexpensive and can be constructed with a minimum of special materials and skills.
