Background:

Adult Still's disease (ASD) is a rare systemic inflammatory disorder.
Characterized by fever, rash, and arthritis, ASD poses diagnostic challenges.

Observation:

This study reviews six ASD cases and 52 from literature.
Key clinical and laboratory features were analyzed.

Findings:

High fever (≥40°C) in 83%, rash in 90%, and arthritis in 88% are common.
Leukocytosis (≥18,000 cells/mm³) observed in 67%.
Other frequent signs include lymphadenopathy (48%), splenomegaly (45%), and serositis (31-26%).

Implications:

ASD is more common than previously thought.
Prompt diagnosis avoids extensive workups.
High-dose NSAIDs are the recommended initial therapy.
