Summary

Individuals with a high need for power, inhibition, and stress (HHH syndrome) experience more frequent and severe illnesses. This may be due to chronic sympathetic overactivity suppressing the immune system, indicated by higher epinephrine and lower salivary immunoglobulin A (S-IgA).
