[Anatomic pathology of Morbus Crohn and colitis ulcerosa (author's transl)]

Basing on comprehensive definitions of Crohn's disease and of colitis ulcerosa, the agreements and differences between both disease patterns are demonstrated. Details include course of the disease, localisation, arrangement, spreading and histological manifestation of both types of inflammation. Furthermore, the local complications and systemic manifestations of Crohn's disease and of colitis ulcerosa are also listed.
