Has the time come to form the IIHA--the International Industrial Hygiene Association?

The possible need for and the value of an international organization in industrial hygiene is discussed. Such an organization could improve programs for the protection of employee health around the world, promote the exchange of industrial health related information and technologies, improve health related legislation and foster an understanding of industrial hygiene and its capabilities in areas where the profession is not known.
