[Trepanobiopsy in the preoperative diagnosis of thyroid diseases]

Data are presented concerning the use of trepanobiopsy in preoperative diagnosis of diseases of the thyroid gland. No complications followed 188 trepanobiopsies; clinical diagnosis was changed after trepanobiopsies in 60 patients. Indications to trepanobiopsy in enlargement of the thyroid gland were worked out.
