Sarcoidosis: a case with unusual manifestations
Southern Medical Journal
|August 1, 1980
Abstract:
A 32-year-old black man had a two-year history of malaise, nausea, and vomiting, and a weight loss of 75 lb. Four months before his first clinic visit, a fine papular eruption developed on the torso and ichthyotic lesions found on the arms and legs. Medical evaluation revealed sarcoidosis involving skin, stomach, colon, and liver. To the best of our knowledge, ours is the fifth reported case of ichthyosiform sarcoidosis and the sixth with sarcoidal involvement of the colon.
