    Summary

    This study compared respiratory activity in dogs under methoxyflurane or halothane anesthesia. Methoxyflurane showed a stronger correlation with body weight for respiratory volumes and more periodic deep breaths compared to halothane.

    • To compare the respiratory activity of spontaneously breathing dogs under two different anesthetic protocols.
