    Summary

    Patients with febrile acne conglobata showed impaired delayed hypersensitivity reactions, indicated by negative skin tests to common allergens and tuberculin. Lymphocyte transformation via phytohaemagglutinin (PHA) remained normal, suggesting a specific defect in cellular immunity.

    Background:

    • Febrile acne conglobata is a severe inflammatory skin condition.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate delayed hypersensitivity reactions in patients with febrile acne conglobata.
